Five ways to work on one concept.

All of them built from your own sources.

FAQ

What happens to the PDFs I upload?

They go into private storage only your account can reach, and stay openable as Sources. We extract the text to find concepts, we do not train any model on your material, and deleting a Source removes the file and its text.

Can I use lecture slides, textbooks and YouTube?

Yes. A Source is a PDF, a website or a YouTube video. A textbook chapter and a two-hour recorded lecture both work, and both keep their page numbers or timestamps.

How does one concept end up with several sources?

SymbioLearn reads each Source, finds what it teaches, and checks that against the concepts already in the module. Where your slides, a textbook and a video explain the same thing, that is one concept with three sources recorded underneath it, even when they use different names for it.

How is this different from asking a chatbot?

A chatbot answers from whatever it absorbed. SymbioLearn searches your own module first, then writes the question, the correction or the explanation from those passages and shows you which ones. If your material does not support a good question, it does not invent one.

How are Live Voice Lesson minutes counted?

By connected conversation time, measured on our servers and rounded up to the nearest minute. Reading the Lesson record afterwards costs nothing.

What happens when the minutes run out?

Lessons stop starting. Nothing is charged for going over, ever. Sources, concepts, quizzes and flashcards carry on working.

What is included in Free?

One module, 5 sources in it at a time, 5 quizzes a week, flashcards, and 30 Live Voice Lesson minutes in total. Those 30 minutes are a one-off allowance, not a monthly one. No card.

What happens to top-up minutes I have bought?

Top-ups are 60 minutes for $5 or 180 for $12. They do not expire and they survive the monthly reset. Included minutes are spent first.

Can I cancel Pro?

From your account, whenever you want. Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the Free limits apply again. Your modules, sources and history stay where they are.

The free spaced repetition planner turns an exam date and a list of topics into a day-by-day revision schedule. No account needed.
